Loris Diran is of Armenian descent and immigrated to America at an early age, where his family settled on New York's upper west side. After earning a Fine Arts degree from NYU, Diran went on to work for such legendary design houses as VERSACE, CLAUDE MONTANA, and CHANEL. It was at these institutions Diran learned the key elements of style and embraced conceptual design as a lifestyle.

In 2009, Mr. Diran incorporated both his collections within the walls of his first freestanding boutique in New York City’s Bowery district. This highly acclaimed boutique reflected a mid-century minimalism, complete with vintage furnishings from some of the period’s most significant names, creating a destination for Mr. Diran’s Men’s and Women’s Ready-To-Wear collections.

Loris Diran’s growing presence in the design community earned him an invitation to debut his collection on the

runways of Milan as a guest of VOGUE ITALIA and MILANO UNICA in September 2010 and jumpstarted 2011 by

receiving the FASHION GROUP INTERNATIONAL ‘RISING STAR’ Award for Best Menswear Designer for that same year.

He was once again honored to be a finalist for the FASHION GROUP INTERNATIONAL “RISING STAR” award in 2013

for Best Womenswear Designer.

Most recently, Diran debuted his collection on the runways of Hong Kong Fashion Week in January 2015 as a guest

of the Hong Kong Trade commission and has shown as part of NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: MEN’S since its inaugural

season.
